I've played the Doctor Who Miniatures Game that those rules are based on, (Same guys)and I really enjoy it. Its D6's. I have several of the 7tv rulebooks, but havent gotten to play it yet because of lack of time, but its in the rotation. Nothing too difficult to it, and most mechanics become second nature pretty fast.
Just google crooked-dice for the website and to see all the stuff available for the game, there's a heap. They even do some cool figures. They recently released a version for the old stop motion era films like Sinbad or Clash of the Titans called 7th Voyage and they have a Zombie version. I got to use a bunch of my WWG terrain for Doctor Who, It'll be the same for 7tv and its various iterations.
