Ok here's the task:
i'd like to make a 28mm 1" base ALIEN miniature.

Best thing i've found to start with is an hormagaunt miniature from gw
i've magnetized the arms and green stuffed the head the tail and the tubes on the back
i'm quite happy of the result, the only thin missing are the hands (and maybe feet but that's of secondary importance)!
So here's my question:
do you know any "low cost" miniature or part bits where i can scavenge suitable hands? (and maybe feets)

in plastic if possible
or resin

There are open zombie hands somewhere... if not on arms, then on the crossbar of the standard pole. But I seem to recall arms with open hands too. Hmmm... its been a LONG time...

mmmh not bad still a bit big for a good alien...
i recall them being slender and elongated...

i think i'll go to gw shop and ask if they have an open genestealers box just to see if the hands could fit!

btw guys i hate being venial but...
if in a box of zombies i have let's say 2 full sets of suitable hands, the box is at 23€
the hormagaunt box holds 12 minis so i should pay 138€ just for a non-optimal conversion? ;)
if it's not optimal i can buy genestealers wich are full of empty clawed hands.... 23€ and i'm done....

non-optimal for non-optimal i choose to save 115 bucks!^^

They did make HorrorClix Aliens and there were metal ones, what about those?

Less expensive than GW zeds, and smaller hands. Doesn't have the six fingered hand of the Geiger aliens, but not at all bad.

Those look real good.

The faint stripes on the head are especially creepy, as they look just like a nasty spider we have here. The white tail spider (which arrived here from Australia in just the last 5-10 years) starts life with white stripes on its abdomen which fade as it grows to maturity, all except the tip of its tail which remains white(hence the name). The white tail is aggressive and has a really nasty bite even when immature. The size and color of those alien's heads looks almost exactly like those spiders just before they reach full maturity, all that's missing is a white blob on the back end of alien's head.
