Post subject: | Netbook of Special Rooms |
You might want to check out WoTC's product called Book of Challenges (or something like that). It contains alot of encounters (not automatially combat ones). Yeh.. I've been meaning to make a Netbook of Encounters. I have not been successful. I guess I havent even made a first draft! but with such a book, it will contain non-combat encounters , puzzle rooms, etc.. that will be reuseable and fittable to any fantasy campaign. I have a particuar "room" I reuse to dispence an important treasure / item to my game group. Such reasource will be very usefull especially for the miniis gamers I think. With a Paper Model set worthy (finally!!) for mass printing. I am starting this book already. A list of insparations: - Indiana Jones movies, Alan Quartermain, Tomb Raider.... - Warhammer Quest - Nickelodion's Legends of the Hidden Temple ,etc... |

I have a campagn setting that is mostly completed (I am running a game with it now). It includes a number of regions, many new races, and (maybe) soon flying machines. You can download my DnD material at www.angelfire.com/fl5/mwpanther |

Here's a re-dredging of an old topic (I'm bored) If you're into having 3d models, I think it pays to make a campaign (or at least series of adventures) that focus on the environments you've got parts to build. That's kind of smart investing in what you've got. Why run a forest campaign when you have no models for it, but you do have a huge collection of castle models. For myself, I've got a ton of dungeon models, but somehow I've taken to doing a sailing campaign. Since I got the Maiden of the High Seas set, I moving the party from a hand-drawn boat model (flat) to their new ship, which happens to look exactly like the Maiden. In short, I'm tweaking my campaign to use the models I've got. Janx |
