Saw [REC] tonight... right after a game of Zombicide. Great gods and little fishies! That was likely both the scariest and the creepiest zombie movie that I have seen in years. Even allowing for subtitles. I think that the opening fifteen minutes is going to come back to haunt me when I close my eyes. They were the 'scary' part. The last fifteen minutes was the 'creepy' part.... Anyone else seen it? The Auld Grump |

Haven't seen it and likely won't due to the wife despising scary movies. As for Zombicide, do you ever win, because we have played a half dozen or so times and won only once. |

Hmmmm...I would recommend watching the tutorial videos on the new Kickstarter. It APPEARS that for every success you roll, it causes a wound. We always have played with each attack only potentially killing 1 zombie, but it certainly doesn't look like that is as intended. That said, we have only lost half of our games. |

Oh, also, have seen Quarantine (American remake) and LOVED it but definitely need to check out the original! |

@ TheAuldGrump. [REC] is one of my favourite zombie movies. Yes, it is scary and it is creepy. [REC 2] follows on where [REC] leaves off, but, in my opinion, isn't as good as the original. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed [REC 3], but then I do like a good gorefest! "Quarantine" is a faithful remake of [REC] but goes for a more scientific explanation for the outbreak, whereas [REC] favoured a supernatural explanation. They're both good films, but of the two, I prefered [REC]. |

[Rec] has been added to my watchlist after all the endorsements. It has been years (maybe even a decade +) since I have truly been scared from a movie. I look forward to it. |

I might bring this game out at the board game night I am headed to this week. All this talk about zombies makes me want to see some zed action. |
