So I've fallen for FFG's X-Wing, and I've been looking for terrain options. I've turned to my favorite terrain making company and have already purchased the SATHRICAN HOMEWORLD kit for the awesome 3-D asteroid clusters. But I can't seem to find any 3-D explosions. I know the Wormhole base set has 2D explosion markers, but does there exist a kit or kitbash for 3-D? TIA, Ed |

Thanks Matt, I do already own the Battle Basics kit. The explosions in that kit are ground-based. I was hoping to find more of an air-burst type of explosions befitting the glorious death of an X-Wing or TIE fighter. Regards, Ed |

What about just mirroring the 2d images to get it to be 3d? Also a sphere as a full 3d explosion would just kind of roll around - no? Seems 2d would make sense for the game. |

I do see what you mean. I was hoping and envisioning there would be some tri-sided explosions like the ones found in Battle Basics, but on a stick and base to represent the explosion in 3-D space. |

Easily made. You'll need a base and stick (anything from spare plastic stands to toothpicks and modeling clay) and three copies of a suitable looking explosion that is symmetrical. Score the reverse-middle on each one, glue them all together and voila, a three sided explosion. |
