Could anyone suggest one of the products here for providing Dungeon floors for basic D&D. I've just started to play with the basic (free) rules with my son and would like to print out some floors for us to game on - corridoors, rooms with rubble, that sort of thing. Simpler the better please! Thanks, Furgie |

I use the Lost Halls of the Dwarven kings, with the Vaults of the Ancients and Tombs and Treasures sets. All 3 are Terrainlinx and have nice floor tiles. Also, there are walls and rubble walls and all kinds of other goodies. Just scroll down on the pages and there is a list of what comes in the set. One caveat is that all of it needs to be printed out and assembled. I always have a blast making the terrain so that isn't a problem, and it looks really awesome. Something a little faster might be the Ruined UnderCrypt of Kelamarne, but I haven't assembled it so I can't say for sure. Its the bottom link. +1 to the recommendation of the Lost Halls of the Dwarven Kings and its add-ons. FYI, if you only want the floors, then you can just print the floor tiles and stick the floor area direct to card or foamcore for extra thickness (makes then more stable during play). This doesn't give you the full 3D capability for these sets, but is a fast way to get great floor sections. Also, if you take this approach you can cut the floor sections to match whatever layout you want to create (something you're unlikely to do if you've done the full spec build). |
