Kobold Quarterly has ceased publication - never quite building up the needed momentum. I have most of the magazine, either in PDF or print - a few evaded my clutches, being sold out from under me when the FLGS (also gone) forgot that the magazine was a special order, and put it on the shelf. I will miss the magazine. The Auld Grump |

Another one bites the dust. I'm starting to wonder if print is dead. At least in the gaming world. Seems all the good mags have either turned into commericals for products (ala White Dwarf) or moved to digital or just died. |

The distribution model changed - when Alliance was formed by Chessex and Armory, when Greenfield went under, and when Wargames West started getting... odd. Chessex carried a lot of smaller games, Armory not as much. But Alliance? If you aren't big enough then you aren't worth the time of day. I miss Chessex. The Auld Grump |

I just got the usual email blast from Kobold Quarterly I didn't notice a mention of a cancellation. Where did you read about the cancellation? Thanks in advance. |
