A little early, but I am hoping to not be on any electronic communication device tomorrow. I hope everyone enjoys it (well, our US peeps, anyways). Among other things, I am grateful for print & build terrain and, more importantly, the wonderful community around it that I have come to know and love. Cheers all! |

I will reiterate the sentiment above. This community is definitely something to be thankful for. I, on the other hand, wish I could be spending more of my day playing video games tomorrow and less of it doing the crazy bouncing around three different stops thing. |

Sorry about your turkey, DeltaIce. I had a nice time at my brother's place, about 9 of us with another 3 that arrived for desert later in the afternoon. I brought the pasta salad and carrot cake. (Yeah, I know, carrot cake isn't high on the list of traditional items, but my niece heard I had made one and said I *had* to bring it!) I went ot frost it and found both my containers of Cream cheese frosting had crystalized, so I had to settle for plain ol' vanilla frosting. For a box cake everyone liked it - even alongside my mother's mincemeat pie. I really had no intention of running out into the Black Friday atmosphere this year, but still had to go out to pay a couple bills and other stops. Picked up my holiday bird (courtesy of my employer) which is now thawing in a 5-gallon bucket of water to be put into the roaster later this weekend. Hope everyone had a delightful time with family and friends! |
