Painting some of my backlog of Reaper miniatures, in preparation for the Bones release in March.
Just starting on Kaladrax, waiting on some resin terrain from England that I m using for the base.
I was originally planning on painting the metal Kaladrax, then selling it off. Now... I am growing attached.
The original Kaladrax does not have an exciting pose, but between the long skinny tail and the well defined bones, it will be easy to convert and customize - I will likely take the hind legs apart at the knees and ankles, reposition and pin them into a completely different pose.
This is the building that I am using as the base -
He will be coming up the side, tail wrapped around the building.
The scenic base of the new model was inspirational - and made me realize how I could pose the metal one to better effect.
I still yhink that the new Kaladrax is a more impressive figure....
