My brother is raving about it. I haven't watched yet. Let me know how you guys feel about it and I will jump on the wagon after season 1... (we like to watch without commercials and multiple episodes of shows in a sitting). |

Agreed. I've watched the first two, and it still feels like it's getting started, slow growth with possibilities for greatness. -Eric |

I caught the first one as a preview viewing on the Comcast cable "On Demand" option. Missed the actual airing of the second and am waiting for it to become available now. I too thought it had potential and am rather excited about it. |

Started watching the first last night, didn't have a chance to get too far but I'll finish it and likely the second pretty quick. I was happy the one guy with a beard at least mentioned "physics as a whole stopped working". I was expecting them to try and pass it off as electronics don't work and it would end up just being a virus or something. Which wouldn't actually explain why everything stopped. |

At this point should we just start a thread that says "Spoilers" in the title? |

I have learned to suspend any belief in the treatment of physics, chemistry, and whatever scientific processes the writers of TV shows are trying to circumvent, although at times it is just too much to bear ![]() One of the main actors is put in peril. Oh no! Will they survive??? ![]() ![]() ![]() The main bad guy is captured. Instead of getting rid of the jerk, some totally unbelievable plot mechanic is used and the bad guy gets away, multiple times ad nauseum. It would be nice if the writers would come up with something new instead of recycling the same cwrap. ![]() I recorded Revolution and watched Hawaii Five-0 this last time. A lot of eye rolling. I guess the vehicles the 5-0 bunch use are faster than cell phones since they never seem to phone ahead to alert someone that some bad stuff is gonna happen, but them cars sure look spiffy weaving through traffic with the lights flashing before they screech to a halt at the crime scene. ![]() ![]() The Kindle is starting to get a good workout. |

After viewing the episodes, Revolution was not that good script wise. I have listened to several novels about such 'reset buttons' for civilization like a total grid failure. I enjoy the novels more. One good thing however about Revolution are the rich graphics it provides. I liked the train bit ... full of rust and covered with vegetation. It would make a nice model set. |

Why aren't people in the Apocalypse dirtier? Sure there's plenty of grime on the extras, and while living in the village I can accept they might be able to keep pretty clean and shaven but makeup? I'm pretty sure unless they started to use their limited resources to make more woman would be going natural. The show is okay, and I'll probably keep up on it on night shift, but if I was watching it at home there's no way it would make the cut. |
