I remembering seeing this some time back (probably a year+ ago) and thinking that it was cool, but looked like it would hurt the two adjacent fingers. |

Looks to me like there's an inner ring that the gear piece slides on, so there should be no moving parts against the skin of that finger. Now the adjacent fingers!!!! |

It looks like the outer pieces do ride on a track (or most likely a bearing-style setup) so I do not think the callouses would be an issue. I also do not think it would hurt the adjacent fingers, but then again I guess it would depend on the sensitivity of the other digits. |
