I am way overcrowded with three years of model builds and other tinkering. I can't just throw them out and I have many more projects to build ... what to do? Well, I ordered two 20' shipping containers modifed to to fit together to make a nice roomy craft building. They will have temp control and all of that .. windows and all. When I pass away, my heir can get rid of the models and set it up as a guest house. That way the cost can be justified. Actually I think it is a great deal. Now the office in the house will return to being just that. I still have to declutter the closets. I decided to keep the library even though I am now purchasing audio books for the Kindle. I was going to repurpose the space but just can't let it go. It is such a peacefull space. I sometimes fall asleep there with a book ... the corgis are with me and always wake me when it is time to go to bed. Anyway, ... speaking of dogs, I know the akitas will take to the crafting building. I should have done this much sooner. They'll be delighted that I'll be spending a lot more time in their area of the grounds ::smiling:: We're all beyond old (the akitas and I), but we can share this last dream coming into form together. I feel especially great today! Time to put on the boots and see how the guys doing the footings are coming along. I need those ready for when the containers arrive. |

This is a great idea. I would love to see pictures of it when it is done (and maybe even the process of putting it together). I am glad you are having a great time with it so far. |
