I just picked up three reams of 100 sheets of Premium Matte Photo Paper for 30% off with free shipping. I was down to a little over a ream left and so I thought I should restock. The discount code is: APR30 I hope at least someone decides to try out the photo paper (I will not be going back to cardstock again...) Edit: Added |

Is this on the Epson site or somewhere else? |

Okay, so tell me about your experiences with photo paper...I use cardstock (or, currently, glossy coverstock) and am quite happy with both its look and durability. I can imagine the photo paper might look better, but how durable is it? do you mount it to something else or just build with it? |

Same bridge, more minis: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9978&p=139923#p139923 In short: the strength of TLX does not come from paper weight, but instead from paper lamination and folding. Photo paper is plenty durable, and just plain looks better. |

First, yes it is the Epson site. I am sorry that I forgot to include the link. I will edit it now. As for the photo paper, the stuff is wonderful! The difference in thickness from cardstock is negligible and there is no stability loss with it (at least what I have been using). It seems to be just as durable as cardstock when it comes to the finish. I would imagine that a gloss finish could cause issues, but honestly, I don't think you would guess that this stuff was photo paper. Sunraven's link above with the Hinterland tiles is the level of quality improve that I saw and I would even say that the pictures don't do it justice. It is night and day from what I was using before. |

Thanks for the update on the site. Just out of curiosity what printer setting changes did you have to make? I know one of the 'recommended' setting for saving a little ink with little detail loss was to set 'plain paper'. |

I have been using the four star version as per sunraven's suggestion and liked it so much that I have not tried the other two. |
