For those RPG'ers who enjoyed the John Carter movie and/or its inspiration Edgar Rice Burroughs' Mars/Barsoom stories, Adamant Entertainment are running a on their Mars setting and adventures for d20 and Savage Worlds.

The setting is great fun and ideal for running John Carter/Barsoom adventures in d20 or Savage Worlds. There is a disclaimer that the setting is not based on any one author or setting, and this is reflected in changes like the shortage of 4 armed creatures (e.g. Green Men only have 2 arms), and a few different or missing races and places. However, the setting does such a great job of recreating the look and feel of ERB's Barsoom adventures that unless you are trying to replicate the books exactly it works fine as it stands (though I would suggest giving the Green Men and the White Apes four arms instead of two, and making the White Apes wilder).

Thanks for the heads up. Barsoom seems like such a fun place to game.

Sounds cool...I had considered that if I ever gamed there I would reflavor Dark Sun.
