Wow. I'll elaborate: Screen: Holy crap! OLED is amazing! Super bright, crisp and clear Interface: It took me awhile to get used to touching things to navigate the menus; I'm not a tablet guy, so it was a bit strange at first, but I like it now. My only concern is the rear touch screen, I fear I may accidentally touch it inadvertently while playing a game (others share the same concern). Games: Well, I had a few minutes of play with Dungeon Hunter Alliance (demo), and I was very impressed .. it really felt like having a PS3 game in my hands. No blurring at all. I bought Uncharted & Katamari, but haven't played them yet .. too busy getting demos & AR games ![]() It's lighter in weight then I expected, but feels very solid in the hands. The buttons feel nice, and the d-pad is especially tactile, HUGE improvement over the PSP's d-pad. The dual analog sticks seemed small at first, but they have a rubber center, which makes moving them around easy. Overall impressions so far: 9 out of 10 BTW: I created a new PSN account: Dana_Lou_Vita, in case anyone wants to add me ![]() |

I've been considering getting this. But I'm not a portable player at all. I don't travel so I have no need for it. Uncharted is the only thing that really draws me to this. However the reviews are really making a cause for this. With dual joysticks and the hd screen I've been hearing thats its like playing a ps3. Which makes me want it more. But that whole thing with the vita sd cards really pisses me off. No reason they couldn't just use normal micro sd cards. I think I've hold off at least until the first price drop or until you can buy 3rd party cheap vita cards. But I feel like theres a good chance they'll port the vita games to ps3 eventually. So maybe I'll end up skipping it forever. |

I was tempted to get one, but Monster Hunter is still up the in the air. Without that, I just don't need another portable device! ![]() |

I have stayed away from learning about it on purpose. I just don't have time for yet another game system. My PSP hasn't been used in over a year. I love my DS but haven't played in months. My Wii hardly ever gets turned on (Just Dance for the wife and kid mostly) My Steam account has about a billion games and I haven't been playing any lately I have terrain building to do. That has been my primary hobby lately. |

I was playing this in bestbuy today and I'm seriously impressed. I'm pretty sure I'll pick this up at some point. I really hope the make a modern warfare for it at some point. Thats about the only game I really replay after beating it. |
