I would have on interest in participating (note my avatar!), but I have no illusions regarding my availability. ![]() |

Much as I'd love to, can't as have too many things on plate already (plus the timezone difference would be a real killer for me: 4am start on a Saturday for gaming - I used to be that mad, but these days ...) |

Very cool. I just started up a Traveller campaign again. The last one was in 1982-84 (off and on). Funny how some elements of the game I just totally forgot about and some came right back. |

Wondering what you're doing for your scenary? It's been done once or twice before (or at least attempted ref: some of the posts): a full scale Type S Scout model (or at least, our basic 1"=5'). I have one on the drawing boards myself which was the first idea I had that I pushed a pencil around the planning page when I found the WWG community. And I *will* get to back to that as soon as I 1) finish off my "Maiden" (shipwrights have finished the ship itself - just waiting on the carpenters and canvassors for the finishing touches; some of the Captain's belongings have already been stowed and the dockworkers are already loading some cargo for the first voyage), 2) get ready to 'publish' my "Gangway" kitbash, and 3) build my two TLX-friendly riverboats - "Deadfall Jack", a dirty old tramp sidewheeler freighter, and the "Deadfall Queen", a passenger/casino sternwheeler that has seen better days [wait, did I just let that #3 slip out? I kinda meant to keep that a secret for a while yet...] Anyway, if I were able to join you, I'd start noon my time which isn't bad. It would just depend on the weekend. Usually one whole weekend a month I'm out in the woods doing NERO Live Action Role Playing - otherwise 2 or 3 of the remaining weekends I would only be able to participate for about 4 hours before having to head out for other established games at the local college, one of which I am one of the Storytellers, but those would be in hiatus during the summer months. Keep us posted as to how you get going with the campaign - and good luck! And have fun! |
