Otherworld Miniatures is now doing some very old school boxed sets - the first is titled Level I Monsters.... :) Makes me think of Grenadier, just looking at them.



4 Giant Centipedes, 3 Fire Beetles, 5 Giant Rats, 5 Kobolds, 4 Goblins, 5 Pig-faced Orcs, 3 Hobgoblins, 3 Skeletons and 4 Stirges.

The downside is that they are way too expensive - Pre-release Price – £60.00 (After release, the price will be £75.00).

Ow. :( A lot of figures, not a bad price per model, but... ow.

Next box is titled Level 2 Monsters... I think that I see a pattern here....

This set includes 3 Gnolls, 3 Ghouls, 3 Zombies, 4 Troglodytes, 2 Shadows, 3 Large Crab Spiders, 3 Berserkers, 1 Green Slime, 1 Yellow Mold and an Evil Magic-User.

I think that they might have been better served including only one of each monster - but this way there is enough to do actual encounters. It is just the number of figures that is hurting.

I think that this is a repackaging of the monsters from their blisters, so... here are the Stirges:

Each pack is around £7.50 - £10, I think, so there is some savings, it's just that there is a lot of figures in the box.
