I know we have the other thread to post what we received this year for the holidays, but I always seem to get a few random things and I figure I am not likely the only one. This year: Cat tree ornament (I am allergic to cats, but they didn't know) navy blue fleece boys jacket for my daughter a wallet that is so big I don't think is would fit in a pocket This year was fairly mild for odd gifts here. What did you guys get? |

I got a tin of homemade cookies baked with multi colored dough ... what my niece called christmas camouflage. They were very pretty and tasted great! I also got this box that was oddly constructed, but very interesting ... beautifully simplistic yet elegant. |

The oddest gift (although awesome for me) was a box stuffed with bags of candy corn and candy pumpkins. My wife knows how much I like them and bought a TON after they went on clearance after Thanksgiving! |

My 4 year old got a box of Mac and cheese... His response: someone got me food? Aunt later explained it was "cars" Mac and cheese to go with his current "pixar cars" obsession. |

An alarm clock that talks instead of ringing ("WAKE UP! IT'S 6:30 AM!"). Funny thing is that it always adds the room temperature after repeating the hour one last time when you put off the alarm. |

Giant Red Elf Slippers. I'm not one for slippers, chatchkas, or tacky to begin with. |

No weird presents this year, but that big dragon makes me feel strangely guilty.... ![]() Something like that I would rather buy or get as payment in kind - somehow thanking my players for getting me the beast by letting it eat their characters just seems wrong! The Auld Grump |

3 boxes of Walkers Chocs + Underworld Trilogy DVD from my family. I spend $100 on this site for myself, $30 before and $70 afterwards. (The best present). My 3 grand kids had plenty of presents though. |

For me nothing odd this year, though last year it was a Bacon Wallet. Its a regular wallet that looks like its covered in strips of uncooked bacon. I believe my mom purchased it from Think Geek last year. |

I got a 1972 Star Trek annual from my niece and nephew. The only odd thing about it is that it is in excellent condition. The cover's slightly scuffed. Apart from that the pages are secure, there's no biro or crayon anywhere. Even the little triangular price tag is still present, a thing unheard of in my experience! Original price, thirteen shillings, or sixty five new pence |
