The end of the year is always hectic for me, both with work and with family. So, before I get so busy I forget, I wanted to wish WWG and the forum community a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Papercrafting has turned out to be a really enjoyable hobby for me, and I wanted to thank WWG for that. Not only have I developed a hobby that I enjoy, but my kids have been participating in it too either by playing with the by-products, or by learning how to craft themselves. Not only that, but it's rekindled my childhood love of fantasy worlds. My kids and I have been enjoying D&D adventures together now, and the TerrainlinX stuff has really helped let us focus on the story telling stuff, and less on the writing down and erasing of stuff -- we don't need no stinking rules -- but we *do* like having a world to move around in!
And, I doubt I'd be producing nearly as much stuff as I am, and I *know* it wouldn't be nearly as good quality, if it weren't for the forums. I've learned a lot from other people sharing their ideas and techniques. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share! So now, papercrafting is part of the family. I've made anniversary cards for my in-laws, Halloween decorations for the kids, Christmas cards for the family... I even made a computer desk out of cardboard this year!
I hope everyone gets to enjoy the season, and I hope the new year will be papercut free for you all!
