OK, so I just watched The Smurfs movie at the dollar theater with my job (your tax dollars at work!) and it wasn't horrible. Neal Patrick Harris played it straight, less over the top than usual. I'm a big NPH fan, he's the only celebtity I've ever actually met. But about halfway through the movie, I had a startling revelation... PAPA SMURF IS A REDCAP!!!! |

And, because this is my twisted mind, I need to state at this point that I've finished painting six Rohirrim on foot to use as Northmen and two Redcaps to use as spriggans for my upcoming Moonshae game. Six Rohirrim, one Berserker Chick, two Redcaps, and a Giantess left to finish, as well as an assortment of cardstock goodness, before I am ready to run it... |
