I figure that it would be a good thing to have all the Steam sales in one thread over time, as this might get more people getting good deals with less specific threads. Today marks the . It is definitely worth checking out. |

Thanks for that Talae, there's some good deals in there (e.g. Portal2 $10; Mass Effect2 $5 (or with the extras for $10), and that's just today. Even more competition for my wallet and gaming time - aaaargh! |

The sales today are VERY tempting. L.A. Noire is on the list to buy, as is the Fallout NV DLC. I am finding it difficult to resist. |

Mass Effect series and Torchlight are no-brainers today if you don't own them already. |

Both of those are VERY tempting! Not really familiar with Renegade Ops, but it looks and sounds interesting. SERIOUSLY considering Silent Hill. I have it on 360, but would love to be able to play on my PC as well. Brink for $5 also tempting... |

Four pack of Greed Corps, anyone? |

Post subject: | Re: Steam Sales |
Greed Corps? Missed it I think. What is it? That Silent Hill is...well, its not good for a Silent Hill game, but just about any other series would be lucky to have a sequel that good come from an outside studio. I enjoyed it, but its not the same calibre as the rest of the series. Brink sounds interesting enough to futz around with on the cheap. Picked up Orcs Must Die and it is a BLAST! Lots of fun. |

I know its not a steam sale but it still seems on topic. Bestbuy.com "deal of the day" has TERA on sale today ONLY. For $8 (normally $40). |

I pulled the trigger on Lara Croft: GoL due to local co-op and the hopes of getting my wife to play. I figure Space Marine and Street Fighter can wait. I would have bought either instantly if at the $5 price point, but for now I guess I hold off. That brings my current list to: Myself: Binding of Isaac From Dust Lara Croft: GoL Trine 2 Alice: MR Orcs Must Die! L.A. Noir Walking Dead Legend of Grimrock Bastion Gifted to Wife: Portal 2 Trine 2 Bejeweled 3 Gifted to Others: Alice: MR Received as a gift: Alan Wake Rage Magicka Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box Current total spent: $75.86 |

Some great deals today: $30 for Skyrim, $10 for Dead Island, $5 for Borderlands, $2.50 for Plants vs Zombies. I already own all of those though... The only one tempting me today is Orcs Must Die! |

If you don't have Orcs Must Die, do yourself a favor and GET IT! One of my favorite games of the last few years. Thinking of Dead Island myself... |
