Neil Gaiman's American Gods is going to be on TV in 2013.Tom Hanks is listed as a producer on his IMBD bio page. The book was a very interesting read, hopefully the series will be a good watch. Some information on IMDB: Too bad it is after 2012 so no one will get a chance to watch it.

Great book not sure how it work as a series. Mini-series I can see, it would take that to really tell it right. |

I could see the series being possibly good, if they expanded beyond the book into the other gods that get touched on but not dealt with. (maybe a selection of five or six gods total.) Still, I'm very nervous about this one, there's a VERY large possibility that they could mess this up completely. |

considering Neverwhere was a miniseries before it even was a book....I can only hope that Neil has some hand in the production. |
