I love Space Wolves. I had this army back when I lived in the States but I sold it before moving to Oxford. I just won an ebay auction for £65.00 (including shipping) I got the marines (excluding the captain) from the Assault on Black Reach and the Space Wolves Battleforce. So that is 10 Tactical Space Marines, Five Space Marine Terminators, a Space Marine Dreadnought, 10 Grey Hunters, 10 Blood Claws, 5 Wolf Scouts and a Drop Pod Normally £90.00 (reducing the price of Assault on Black Reach) so I'm pretty happy right now!! Now to get some Jump Packs! |

Official jump packs, or some of the new (nicer) ones that some third party companies are releasing? The Auld Grump |

I was thinking of using the official for the standard Blood Claws and this for the Wolf Gaurd |

My biggest decision is which company to purchase the Thunderwolf Cavalry from! are nice but at $90 for 5 ![]() has a 3 unit Wolf Pack for $40 but I'm not a large fan of how they look, and they seem slightly small compared to the one GW version. has a 5 unit pack for $73 and they have several Hero sets consisting of one Thunderwolf and three Fenris wolves for $33. I may go with these guys has two wolf riders and 3 giant wolves available for €22.14 each has a set of 5 for €89 or individually for €22 has one that would make a great Wolf Lord for €32 but I would have to do something about the rider. As cool as it is it would need some slight work to fit in. There are several people on ebay selling their versions. This picture was taken by Max_Dammit on Bolter and Chainsword From left to right, in decreasing sizes.: Mr Dandy; GW Canis; DB/Mythicast; Masquerade Minis; Maxmini; "Russian" wolf. Mr Dandy has the closest resemblance to the GW model. |

I just won another auction for 8 SM Bikes and one SM Assault bike and it was for less than half the price of brand new! The best part is they are only primed and not painted! Not that I actually enjoy painting, it is one of the reasons I like prepainted miniatures so much, but if I'm going to have to paint them I want the styles to match. |

Okay I took the plunge and purchased the Thunderwolf Cavalry from Mythicast. With the current currency exchange it came to £48.00 for the 5 models. |

I'm still waiting on the Thunder Wolves. All I know is that they are in transit. I've also purchased a bunch of bits on ebay and a set of 5 Jump Packs from Maxmini.eu and 5 Jump Packs from GW. I'm going to magnetize them so I can switch them between Blood Claws (w/o Jump Packs) and Sky Claws (with Jump Packs). I've also Scratch built a Wolf Priest using a Forge World Legs I purchased off ebay and the standard Space Wolf infantry box and I've build him with both standard back pack or Jump Pack (magnetized) to accompany the Blood/Sky Claws. He is equipped with a Crozius Arcanum and a Storm Bolter. |

OK, now I see why you paid that much for those wolves. Emperor's hairy eyebrows, those are the best mounted Space Wolves yet! |

My 5 MaxMini.eu Iron Jump Packs arrived yesterday and I spent the entire day building my Sky Claws in-between house work. They are slightly larger than I would have liked but the detail and clean cast is simply amazing! If only my Thunderwolves would have come out so cleanly! Like with my previously 5 Sky Claws I magnetised the backpacks and jump packs so I can switch them between Sky Claws and Blood Claws giving me a broader range of choice when playing. I may place a few Magnets on top of my Terminators for Cyclone missile launchers! I find magnets well worth their price. I don't know what I would have done without them on my Crisis Suits! |

What is with all the bubbles?! That is pretty sloppy. |

What size Magnets you use for the jump packs? and is the source online? I was looking to do the same thing with my Assault marines and was having trouble finding a local magnet dealer. |

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed about the bubbles. However it is not such a big deal now that Games Workshop has developed LIQUID GREEN STUFF!! The stuff is great to work with! |

Just spotted this at Tabletop Gaming News. REALLY expensive but great art. Hope the final model is just as nice. Still...that price is INSANE. http://www.kabukimodels.com/index.php?go=produkt&id=115 |

Here are my Sky Claws! The Jetpacks and Backpacks are all magnetised. So now I just switch them for Sky or Bloodclaws. |

I decided since I've got quite a few Space Wolves that they needed an Armoury. |

I've been looking forward to these for a while. What was the legal issue with Chapterhouse? I'd not heard about that. |

Heh, now that it is too late... Raging Heroes has dropped the price on their Cyber Wolves - €70.90 for three wolves and the leader. Some folks like GW's better, some like these better.... My biggest problem is that these have 'space marine' legs as part of the casting, I think.... The Auld Grump |
