My name is Heckbringer and... and I can't find my crafting tools. Sorry... Just a sec... I thought this would be easier to talk about... ... ... Okay. I moved recently, and haven't had a chance to do any crafting since the move. Two nights ago, I bought packs of the paper recommended by SunRaven01, including a pack each of matte and glossy, and when I got home I was all excited to buy a new set I've had my eye on and start making stuff. But I can't find my crafting stuff! I have no idea what bag, box, or who-knows-what contains my knife, blades, ruler, glue, and cutting mat. My friends are sympathetic. They try their best to understand.... But they don't actually get it. I thought you folks might... |

It happened to me once, never again. Ever since, my hobby stuff does not get packed; it rides loose in its normal storage containers in the passenger seat of the car. Before it is moved, its new home has been decided. I haven't lost a thing since I started doing this! |

Just purchase a new set of tools if possible. Whenever you find your old ones they'll be a backup ... good thing to have. I know what it is like to be excited about starting a project and then find you can't find something you need. Goodness knows after moving a person needs to take a break and relax ... not encounter more frustration. You have my sympathy. |

Open... everything... and... find... it. I just moved too. There's still things that are missing - but to finish the journey, you must first start it! ![]() |

I've been there. Of course in my case it's totally my fault. When I move every box is labeled either 'food,' 'books,' or 'misc.' |

I just moved a few months ago. Paper terrain products and computer setup take priority. They are the last to "pack" and the first to be set back up. I say "pack" because things like The Maiden don't exactly fit into moving boxes very well... |

Thanks for the sympathies, guys. ![]() Yeah... Wish I'd handled the move better in this particular regard. And I think it's a good call... If I can't find my stuff I'll upgrade instead of replacing exactly what I had. |

I can somewhat relate.... We moved out of our town home and rented it. Put 90% of our stuff into a storage unit. Living at my in-laws right now... all of my crafting stuff is in the storage unit. We do have the robo-cutter here but only used it for things like birthday party invitations and decorations. Wifey has used it more than me in the last 6 months! |
