Sad to see him go. I'm not a big apple fan, but I have to admit he really did improve how user friendly computers and cell phones are. |

56 is a young age to go. I still have my Apple II stored away somewhere. |

I am sad to see him go. His vision and drive definitely helped to shape the industry. I am not an apple product user at all (well, okay, iTunes), but the fact that they defined so many areas drives PC developers to try and jump on the band wagon. MP3 players, tablets, non-business smartphones, etc...many of the initiatives driven directly by Steve. |

Love my PC's but Jobs forced the entire computer industry to design intelligent software that focuses on the user experience (not the programmers experience). In no small way, its thanks to him (and the incredible team behind him) we have Windows 7 and every iteration on every system that puts the user first. I was really looking forward to what else Steve could have created had he lived a full life. His time away from Apple most certainly would brought about many astounding things. Godspeed Steve! |

The loss of one of the great baby boomers - the man who single handedly did the most to make tech usable. |

I was always struck by his choice of logo ... an apple with a bite out of it. A harbinger to be sure. |
