Thanks for the suggestion, Ghengis, but I think those might be a little big. After studying my source material (Power Pack and Franklin Richards, Son Of A Genius comic books) I realized that HERBIE is just a series of different-sized ovoid shapes assembled together, except for his head. So I went down to the bead store with my Gee (Alex Power) HeroClix miniature in my pocket and went shopping for parts. $3 later, I had the basic shapes to work from. After adding head and arms from leftover GW plstics, I had threee fully-modelled HERBIEs ready to be painted. I hope to have them done by Monday, if everything works out I'll have the time to take a bunch of pics of all the stuff I've been doing lately... Next up: Smartship Friday in 15mm scale, as soon as I can decide which base to use.... |
