Funny you should show the Troll...anyone have experience with Vor...the growlers in Vor assemble the same way as the Trolls and have much the same look, seems one designer must have done both, to me...

I played a game today with the Trencher's All, celebrating the fact that I finished painting the Grenadier. I faced off against the identical Everblight army that cleaned my clock before. The only proxies this time around were the Scouts.

As far as I can tell I used the same tactics, but this time the outcome was a fine red blighty mist - the critters ran into my templates, then went away. By the end only his Warlock was left, while the Trencher's All had not lost more than three models. Finn and the chaingun mowing them down within short range, Caine adding range to the Trenchers and the Grenadier with Snipe, the Long Gunners taking a flank and raining death upon the poor critters. (They also took the only casualties this time.)

Weird, this is how I had pictured the list working against a light Everblight list when I worked on it in the first place. I think that part of the cause was different terrain, and the fact that he was still clumped up when he got in range. (With all his Shredders facing away from each other so they would not go for each other's throats....)

*EDIT* As an aside - Sorscha's feat is getting toned down a tad in the upcoming Remix of Prime.

I keep toying with the idea of a Cygnar Trencher army (& have been toying with it long before Superiority), but so far managing to resist when I have too many armies I never play with anyway.

I find it a continual annoyance that my brother has a Sword Knight army, when the Trencher's look so cool.

Thought I would perform some Thread Necromancy and say,

THIS MINI SHOULD HAVE BEEN DENEGHRA!

I'm not a big fan of any of her current sculpts.
