The Pathfinder Online game, however, will not use the PFRPG rules or any tabletop rules system, unfortunately. They've stated that they'll use a typical MMO system where every character has a bunch of "powers" to put on a hotbar and activate during combat. Since Ryan Dancy worked for CCP as a marketing manager/VP on EVE Online, it's apparent that he's trying to implement a similar gameplay system that EVE has--only with fantasy heroes instead of space ships. I was really excited for this game until they announced that they wouldn't be using the PFRPG system in the game.

The comic sounds really cool, using fresh ideas with poster map, char stats and rules, in the comic! Cool! The mmo has a kickstarter (successfull) for developing at least a demo to get it off the ground. It could take a while but would be a cool intro to the game!
