There have been a couple of Doctor Who RPGs. The one from FASA is now out of print, but pops up occasionally on e-bay. A later effort, Time Lord, is available to down load for free from:

I had heard of Torchwood but assumed it was some sort of dark western like Sleep Hollow or something... didn't know it was connected to Doctor Who. I'll have to look out for that.

I had to skip ahead on some of those posts... I'm a bit behind on the episodes... still watching season 2. I record every episode, but only watch it occasionally... think I have 9 more recorded right now.

I have watch all of Torchwood and Season 3 of Dr. Who (kind of weird calling it that knowing that there is decades of seasons behind it) and I must say that I really like the integration of all the franchises.

Paul is right - filming for season 2 of TW only started by in May so we might see it by years end but more lightly for the first half of 2008. Now that TW is settled (first season over) I think we will get a more even flow in story line. It is easy to throw in a blue police box and a couple of actors and call it Dr. Who whilst everything needs to start from scratch with TW season 1.

I have a feeling that any old cannon about Dr. WHo and the Time Lords have been thrown out the window for these new seasons - fresh blood needs a new start. Why limit everything to a budget killswitch which has been out grown, many decades ago.

The only wish I have is that the TARDIS would have all its other rooms again - I mean it's a mobile fortress in a portable hole. Miss that aspect.

Yeah, but LA, when this latest doctor was changing his clothes in the first XMas episode did you notice the size of the closet?! I mean it had a spiral staircase and everything!

Well Torchwood should be cool this upcoming season since Martha Jones will be joining the Trochwood cast then she is back for half a season of Doctor Who.

The new companion should be announced within a month.

As for RPG's I've been thinking of running a Doctor Who in GURPS. I can't think of a better RPG to do it with the new release of Ultra Tech.

I just watched the The Doctor Who movie last night. The 8th Doctor would have done well in a sereies. I belive he did alot of BBC7 Radio Doctor Who.

Now I need to find the 60's Doctor Who movie with Peter Cushing as the Doctor.

I have all the Judge Dredd audio files from Big Finish and they are really good. It's a shame they stopped making them to focus on Dr. Who.

I think they just weren't selling enough to do any more. It's a pity, as some of them were excellent. They rekindled my interest in 2000AD after many years.

Yeah, I think you are right. I couldn't afford them until they dropped the price on the whole collection. I wanted them, but Dredd doesn't come cheaply to the US... which is odd when you think about it

Oh well, it's a good collection, with many hours of entertainment.

BBC 3 is running season 3 every night (except Saturday) for the next couple of weeks! After season 3 is over it looks like they will run straight into Seaon 1.

Oh happy days are hear again!

Thats at 7 PM in case your wondering with Doctor Who Confidential right after it (also on BBC 3)

They have BBC3 now? Man, I remember when we only had a total of 4 TV channels in the UK... actually, I remember when there were 3 and everyone was so excited for the fourth channel to be coming. Times change...
