I liked the movie. I personally thought it would have sucked if Mr. Speilburg had not been in the background yelling "CRAP" when Bey wanted to keep stuff that was crap.

I was entertained for my money. It is designed for kids so keep that in mind.

Honestly, I was very entertained. Sure, it was cliche after cliche, but it was damn fun. It had extremely badass spec ops guys being extremely badass spec ops guys, the geek winning the girl, and giant robots blowing the shit out of each other. What else could you ask for?

Juat got back from watching the 4th fireworks over the border, boy, for a country that lost a lot of the reason to celebrate that day you all still put on one hell of a show . From the top of the hill here I could see about 7 different shows down there in the states, was pretty impressive.

Saw Transformers last night at the drivein with my roomate, was playing with Shrek3 which I hoped would make up for what Micheal Bay was going to do to one of my favorite cartoons. Anything with the transformers themselves, I enjoyed, the rest of the story was pretty boring overall, filled with plot holes and the usual Micheal Bay wonders.

And worse, Shrek3 might as well be the intro to moving Shrek into mainstream television rather than keeping him up on the big screen. It was not that bad but it was nowhere near as good as the first one.

In the end, my inner child was left wondering what the grownups had done to my show, but it had it's moments. Plenty of eyecandy, large portions of it felt like a giant car sales pitch or commercial but it was still fun. They did a pretty good job overall of the fight scenes and everything transformersish.

You have to be able to completely disbelieve if your a true fan though, or your gonna hate most of what you see . I can't say I wished for that night back, would have been a waste anyway if I hadn't gone. hehe.
