I don't mind if anyone needs to chase me up on it. I'm usually pretty good about responding quickly... but I do get side-tracked from time to time.

I was hoping you wouldn't be able to see that village ScrubKai. I saw it a few turns ago, but my warrior was closer than my scout... damn those long legged scouts

This game is particularly packed. Normally on a small map you'd have 4-5 players, and I think we have 6. It forces confrontation earlier, which I thought would be more interesting for a slow moving game. I just wanted to get the game started as we seemed to keep delaying it, so I didn't put a huge amount of thought in.

I don't want to give up too easily though, so I'd like to continue with the game for now, but think about suggestions for the next one while we play.

I'm loving the close quarters. Makes things more manic.

Man, I've only run into the Japanese (I think it is - they're red) so far - not to any of you guys yet (that I know of). Anyone else run into the red guys yet?

Nope have not met the Japanese, but I have meet the Russans and Romans.

So that makes at least 7 players.

Oh and Robby just so you know, you will probably hit all of us at the same time, as Kane, Arabin and myself are all in pretty close quarters.

As for the close quarters... I wasn't suggestign we quit, just making an observation. However that many civs on a small map means you only get a few cities before all the space is taken up.

7 players? Sheesh, I will definitely write down all the settings next time. I was in a rush, but I must have set it to 3 AI players... or maybe 4... but definitely not more than 8 total. Who knows what I did... I guess we'll all figure it out together

Consider the AI players as target practise

Those of us bumping into each other are probably on a larger landmass, but packed together like sardines. Robby, if you defeat the Japanese, you will probably have a major advantage over the rest of us.

I think that PBEM works best with two players personally... this four player game is moving really slowly. Which reminds me... who is holding it up this time?

I would love to get a bunch of us together online sometime for a live multiplayer game using Beyond the Sword. Hmm, maybe I'll start a thread for that...
