Damn, I like ferrets. I have had terrain stolen by one at a friend's house, waching him sneak, well maybe he thought that he was sneaking, off with the building was almost worth losing the bit. Simon, the ferret, has also passed on since then, I first held him when he was about two inches long, widdling in my hands. I miss him. Their short lives is the only reason I do not own ferrets myself, they are wonderful creatures. Simon was an escape artist, one with remarkable patience for a ferret.

Sorry to hear about the ferret. They're neat little guys and girls.

Unfortunately, it really never gets any easier, especially when you really love them. All our pets are members of the family and it's never easy when one of them passes.

Just try and make sure to spend as much time with them as you can, cuz unfortunately, most don't live as long as we do.
