Most of the forum know I love a good freebie. Shatteredragon brought to my attention a while ago RF - Online, which I thought looked cool in a very manga ish rpg way. The down side for me is that it wasn't supported here in Australia - this equals big lag.

I bought it when it came out and played it for the free month that it came with. It was alright, not the greatest though. I love the art style and some of the content on it, but there's not a whole lot to do.

Missions consist of finding a specific creature and killing X amount of them. You level normally through experience from killing monsters, but all that does is raise the cap at which your skills can level to. You level your skills by using them. Sounds fine and dandy until you need to level up shield and all you do is find some creatures that do 1 damage to you, grab a bunch of them and make them attack you and just sit there.

A friend of mine plays this game.

It's not too bad, and they are working on a decent PvP aspect that will make it better than it is now.
