Just a heads up that there is a very short sale going on at Serif Software - .
I use Page Plus - a desktop publishing program - and am very happy with it. The current version is Page Plus X6 - but I was just as happy with X5, which is going for $15 and well worth it, even if all you are going to do with it is prepare adventures for role playing games. I have used their software for about ten years now.
I have also used Draw Plus and Photo Plus - but nowhere near as much as Page Plus. They are good programs, but I do much more with the DTP software than I do with art software.
These are downloads, not CDs, I do not know offhand how many downloads you are allowed, or if there is backup available - I always have gotten the physical versions.
But for $15....
