I am so glad they are keeping the bardic performance that is so much a part of the Hobbit for me. Missed it in the Trilogy.

That song, alone, makes me think this will put the Lord of the Rings trilogy to shame. Man, I never realized how much such little elements were missing from those movies...until now.

Not sure how I feel about the dwarves. They are not as...stout as I would expect. I am sure I can get over that. Otherwise it looks promising!

As much as i'm looking forward to the movies, I have to say the trailer didn't do that much for me. Agree the dwarves look well too human. But then I also thought the book was only ok. It always felt like the weak book in the series.

Already swept away with the wonderous scenic shots.
But we have to wait another whole year - aargh!
