Now I have completed my first "layout" of Terrainlinx. It is just really a testbuild of 1 tile with 6 walls on top arranged in a corner and a roof with railings. Even with my limited papercraft skills (more or less beginner and all thumbs  ), it looks so good (thanks Denny).
And Denny you were absolutely right, as soon as you get something on the table you want more, more and more. So, back to bulding. |

Yeah my Massive cliff side city needs the Canals, and last night I realised more walls, a LOT more walls... If i want to do more than 1 layer... So tonight printing walls, and wals and wals. I realized I only had enough of one of the wall types I to do 1 of the towers I wanted, I would like 4-6 in the final big thing, but two for now... So need more walls. |

At last I have almost finished my first HIM streets layout, only have 1 more lamppost to glue. 
It is not big, just 6 groundtiles, but I think I have got most of charateristic look out of it. I have just about 72 components to get it all together: (not counting anchors and tabs) Tiles 2 x 6 by 6 anchortiles 2 x 3 by 6 anchortiles 1 x 3 by 3 anchortiles 4 x different street tiles 1 x 3 by 6 blank tile 2 x 3 by 3 blank tile Props 7 x 3 inch railing 7 x 6 inch railing 2 x streetlamps 4 x 3 inch railings from Sewers Walls 2 x Bridge walls 5 x assorted 6 inch walls 14 x assorted 3 inch walls Posts 15 x 2 way corner 5 x 3 way center I will get get hold of a camera tomorrow and hopefully post some photos during the weekend.
All in all it has been a pleasure to build, and I have definitely not rushed it, just sitting down and making some components when I felt like it. 
Now I only have one problem, (apart from running out of ink). Should I expand the layout, or should i build a second level using the sewer.

Thanks all for the encouragement. It has been fun bulding this but I find that I miss a few things. Houses (hint), two inch wide streets (hint, hint), a proper bridge (triple hint) and lots of props (multiple hints).
And of course the CANALS. The most interesting thing with the Canals for me will be the extras included as I already have a good idea of how I will use the canal tiles. Denny, I hope you will get this baby out soon. |
