I've been building the ramp from the HV Streets set and I have a suggestion. I'll do my best to describe what I'm talking about.
I'm using 110lb card stock and I find that the ramp feels a bit flimsy compared to how rock solid everything else has been. As a partial solution I've been including as much card as possible on the flap that attaches the back wall to the underside of the ramp. When looking at the PDF, instead of making the vertical cut on the far right, I just cut horizontally to the edge of the page, giving me a few more inches of card that serves to reinforce the ramp by making more of it two ply. This seems to help support large miniatures better and keep the street from bowing downward.
Has anyone else felt this was an issue? Is there some simple way I could add more vertical support under the ramp? I thought of cutting some foam-core and gluing that underneath to make the entire ramp rigid, but I haven't tried it yet. Any tips?
