Hi Guys, I am planning to do just that with Himmelvale streets. I have got some modular terrain that is made here in Australia and the main limitation is that I have a lot of roads but not many clear areas. This is (of course) easy to fix. The idea I had for my Himmelvale setup is exactly what you have described. The back of every road tile will be a blank tile so that if I want a large plaza, I can do that and keep my overall tile count down. I am planning to mount my tiles on MDF with rare earth magnets to hold them together, so I have no idea how the Terrainlinx system will respond to the double sided tiles. Denny might have some ideas. You'll run into a problem using magnets attached to magnets, namely in the polarities when you try to rotate things. Use alternating magnets and metal bits. |
