I was able to talk a couple family members into doing rebates for me... 600 pages of matte photo paper for less than the cost of 250 pages of cardstock (after 6-8 weeks, of course...)
I've started doing a LOT of printing and cutting this evening...

Starting Jan. 6th, 2013, you can get up to four (4) 50-count matte double-sided 8.5x11 for $1 from Staples. Price is $14.99, with a $13.99 rebate, up to four (4). Go to staples.com, click the 'Weekly Ad' small banner in the upper left. Towards the bottom, under dollar days, you'll see the packs. In store only, so make sure you reserve early. Going to cost you $60 up front, but you end up getting 200 sheets for $4 (plus the cost of the envelope, stamp, etc, for you bean counters out there) BoomerET |

Very nice! Thanks for this. I really want to find some matte photo paper that works well with my HP printer. The HP stuff didn't give me good results or was too thin--I can't recall what the issue was. This stuff is 230gsm. That's a little thicker than I like to use, but for $1, I'll definitely give it a try. |
