Is it just me or are the truss instructions kind of... not so great? First off the instructions start off by saying that "Roof panels are the second component of the TerrainlinX roofing system." But since this shows up before the trusses its a bit awkward and feels out of order like I missed a page or something. When I finally get down to the trusses it seems to be missing a step. It mentions all the various components, but it never shows an end truss being assembled, just a one-way truss. In particular it doesn't show how or when to glue the interior texture into place for the full-length end trusses. It then goes on to explain building a two-way truss the same as an end truss, differing only in how its glued. However there's never any statement of how that gluing differs and it isn't particularly obvious in the diagram. |

I didn't have an issue with the trusses, but I have extremely good spatial relation skills. I can picture one of these in 3D, just by looking at the flat image. I think the directions could be clearer though. |

I just helped a friend with this one. Take another look at the roof section of the generic instructions in the Thoumonts. It shows what they look like all put together and how the roof sections slide onto/into them. That helps a lot. |

Girot, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. What I was looking for was the directions for the post to post connectors. Found them in the Friar instructions. I knew I had seen them, just couldn't remember where. Again, thanks. Now, to find a use for the ones I cut out. They are in various stages of being built. lol |
