Not hard to figure out how to do it, either - cable 'walls' and railings along the road section.
(And could be used to model something akin to the Tower Bridge in Himmelveil.)

That's an amazing idea! If you want the cables to go up really high and don't want the top to flop around, make that part like the tab on the walls. If it's high enough, you can first push the thing down into the post, then bend it slightly outwards and slot the tabs into the side of the bridge! |

Yes 
Not only would this be a great addition, but I have always loved model suspension bridges, ever since I made one out of about 200 match boxes when I was 7. |
