I would very much like to see the forge props in LHotDK expanded upon, enough that it might warrant a booster release of its own. ![]() Breaking it into low tech (guy with a hammer) and high tech (Bessemer furnace, metal press) Low tech: Bellows. Trough. Brazier. Racks for armor and weapons in process. Sand casting pit with Sow and pigs (as in pig iron) High Tech (kinda World of Warcraftish, I suppose): Blast furnace. Crucible. Flowing molten metal. Falling molten metal. Metal press. Trip hammer. Drawing metal (from wire to rails for the railroad). Rails and carts. General Big Heavy Scary Machinery. Fire and glowing coals. Wide arches and bridges, suitable for Balrogs and Wizards to do battle on. (Six inch arches and six inch and 3 inch half arches - attach them like balconies and railings? Combine with railings?) Fountains. Dwellings - furniture, offices. Waterfalls and waterwheels (they have to do something with the water, might as well use it!) Throne room. Crypts. Feasting hall. Brewery (hey, they are dwarfs you know!). Armory, barracks, and training hall. Portcullis. The Auld Grump - beer! It's what makes a Hall a Home! |

Spiral Staircase - I have the one from IW:C&K (still my most used WWG item) but the textures have gotten so much better. ![]() The spiral staircase from the kitbash section looks to be about an inch taller than I want (eyeballing it in Acrobat), but is pretty much exactly what I am picturing otherwise (I may be able to cut it down, not sure how that will affect the number of turns though.... What I think I want is one full turn over 2".) The Auld Grump - I use spiral stairs a lot when designing maps. |
