Post subject: | Himmelvale City Walls |
Evening All fellow Himmelvale fanatics, While in a period of contemplation, staring at the Himmelvale canals floodgates it occurs to me (sorry Denny), what about city walls. Being of a 40k bent, I realise Himmelvale is a city setting but how about double height walls for sieges? or indeed remnant city walls, as you see in old cities like Rome or Paris (or Ankh Morpork, bugger just found another use for Himmelvale, as a setting for my Discworld miniatures). I know the remnant walls could be made from (maybe) sewer type walls at street level to produce the older masonry effect but I am also thinking Massive gates, portcullises, moats (sewer/canal tiles) arrow slits.......... Um sorry too much coffee again. The minister for Mad Ideas Geomod |

you could just use the 3x6 hall with anchors and link a bunch together. top it with another set of 3x6 halls with the railings around it. You could double wall them up if you want. but it would make a pretty sweet wall. |

I suspect this concept got semi-permanently back-burnered while Team Denny worked on the new site design and the Terraclip Project(s). Hopefully they can/will revive their design folders on this now since people are talking about it again. [Necrothreads - gotta love 'em!] |
