I believe .STUDIO is the extension used by the newer software - it can read both .GSD and .STUDIO files. I'm pretty sure you can't just change the file extension, but I haven't tried yet. I believe this topic is related to the newer software: |

This was not just a spur of the moment decision to change the software. I'm using a Craft Robo CC200-20 and I can open up all the old GSD's and still output them to my machine. Silhouette Studio is three times as accurate as Robo Master. Robo Master had limited abilities. It takes three times as long to make a GSD than it does a Studio file AND the GSD will be less accurate. Silhouette Studio has more options for users as well. The only thing that Robo Master has over Silhouette Studio is the ability to manipulate the perforated lines. |
