Okay I've been lurking ever after going to GenCon and seeing these amazing paper models. After that trip I came home and quickley bought a few of the downloads so I could look them over. That prompted me to buy a printer as I only had a B/W laser. I've got the printing end down fine as best as I can tell and did made a few things. Works out pretty nice actually but I'm very slow at the whole cutting thing. So to speed myself up after reading here I bought one of those cutter machines, the Silhouette SD. As I only have so much spare time it seemed worth it to spend a little extra as I'm not so good with a hobby knife. Anyhow the machine works great on everything but one thing and I don't know if it is just me or that is how it should be. I've been reading on here for a while looking to see if there was an answer to this but it is very possible I've just been missing it. So I find myself now asking (sorry to be bothing with questions in my first post here) When you cut out the floor tiles for the himmelvil streets is it supposed to cut out the lines beyond the reg marks? For me it does not and I have just been going in and cutting those with a hobby knife. Not too time consuming but if there is a setting I am missing that would do the cutting then that would be awsome. Thanks for any help with this and taking the time to read my post. Joe On a side note that was a pretty impressive display at GenCon. I've been a build my own terrain guy for years and had no idea what could be done with cardstock. |
