I finally broke out my Silhouette SD that I picked up online a...while...ago. Based upon the stories and issues I'd read about on these forums, I totally expected a frustrating, confusing, and challenging ordeal figuring out how to use this thing. I went through the useful and finally just walked along with . And my Silhouette SD just...worked. Just like it should. I even tried it using Auto Detect for the registration marks and it worked like a champ.
Granted, I threw out the first dang carrier sheet that came with the thing 'cuz my eyes were starting to bleed at all the curling of the paper. But, I expected that. I just ran out to Blick Art Supplies and picked up some Krylon Easy Tack, (with tax, it only cost me 7 cents more than via Amazon) grabbed some extra cardstock, and solved that problem. Thanks so much for the thread. That made it sooo dang easy.
So, yeah, I'll admit my subject line is a total lie. I figured with all the doom and gloom posts about fighting with robocutters in the past, it would be nice to post that I'm having no problems with mine right out of the box.
