Hey, Curt. Your Mountain Fortress looks awesome! What did you use to make it, Skull Cove?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I created this from Skull Cove. Its' size is 3 ft x 2 ft and 14 inches high at the center. I started with the river board first. I was going to place the mountains on it, but had already contacted a gaming company that will use this for their figs' boat races. So I created a smaller version of the river board and came up with this. It took about a month. The mountain structure is made from the printed sheets spray mounted on to mat board and form core. It will be at the Gen Con in Indy in August. I've traded my structures for miniatures and also sell them at the Gen Con auction. I've been creating cardboard dioramas for at least 10 years. It helps support my habit for miniature collecting. I'm amazed at how great the graphics of worldWorks products are. I'll be using the different sets in combination on my next project.

I just saw the new preview picture you uploaded, and it's just beautiful!

Other people here might take the cake when it comes to kibashing or just building models, but to me, you're the #1 man on these beoards for together an evocative layout!
