I got a wild hair up my butt, and decided to make a mailbox!

I spent most of the time on the textures, which are still rather bad, especially compared to anything else WW. But to add insult to injury, when I went to print it came out a much darker blue than I have on screen, and no texture depth at all.

Just goes to show how badly I need Denny's guiding hand for artistic direction!

I printed the first one out larger than it should be (unless you're playing with GI Joes), to make sure the geometry was correct. Pretty spot on.

Here's the prototype. Again, NOT the textures it should have. I put it together pretty fast, too, so it's kinda ugly, but I'm still excited & had to show you guys.





The mail flap opens and closes, too! That part is really fiddly to model, but worth it.

Oh, and just to prove I'm not insane, here's a closeup of the textures (screenshot).

I prefer that than the urinarie...
Good work...there is a lot of people here in the forum that spend her time trying to make us better (planners, mods...) that is what make that forum special...hope one day I can have the skill to do it (or the urinarie) and hope one day the "share" file get's open and can have acces to all the kitbashing and new improvements...

Makes me want to get to work on more modding, but I have very little time to post the pictures of things I've built lately. Still need to get the pics of the prison up!
