I took a break from cardstock modelling for a while, then jumped back in, but re-scaling everything for 15mm. Since then, the TLX phenomenom has taken off, and we have all those lovely Himmelveil and Mayhem kits. While I am patiently waiting for Codename: Titan and Garden Of The Stone Speakers to be released before I jump into TLX myself (going to be tricky converting it for 15mm, we will have to see how it goes,) I am once again musing on a few kits I never picked up.
Swampwoods Village is suddenly important to me. My latest focus is Classic Traveller, and one of the old FASA adventures takes place on a very swampy world (Legend of the Sky-Raiders, if anyone cares.) If I were to actually run this adventure inn my imagination-land (since I do not game with others anymore,) I would need a board's worth of swamp to run the ambushes from the natives and the big chase at the end of the adventure. So it has gone on my list.
Mayhem Junkyard is a kit that until this week has always been classed as "useless" by me. But now, with my coming along, the idea of stacks of crushed cars and piles of debris is looking a loot ore useful. And the ground tiles would be great instead of the barren VillageWorks tiles I am using now.
Anyways, that's what has been on my mind lately.
