Post subject: | *RELEASED* CATHEDRAE NOCTIS: HELLWORKS II GOES GOLD! |
Behold, Matt Lyon's finest work to date! As the grim tolling of bells peals out of the bellfry, snarling gargoyles and faceless statues seem to somehow acknowledge your arrival. Towering pillars cast long shadows in the dimly lit gloom of these towering halls. Somewhere a demonic choir sings a blasphemous hymnal as the rotting corpses of sinners and devils line the pews. Don't lower your head! Don't fall to your knees! And don't bother praying... it won't help you now. This is Cathedrae Noctis... where even angels fear to tread! Cathedrae Noctis brings your darkest, gothic fantasies to life! With it's optional wall types you could make towering structures that dwarf all other terrain on the table or make a simple shrine or chapel with equal ease! Even ruined buildings are no problem with the EZ-Kitbashing guide included! Colourful stained glass windows with monstrous themes add depth and atmosphere to your model and props galore provide both extra detail and vital in-game cover, ranging from simple candelabras to the very heart of darkness itself! Cathedrae Noctis: HellWorks II includes the following: * 6 Floor Variations in 1" and 1.5" Format * 6" and 3" Removable Arched Pillars * Flying Butresses and Exterior Abuttments * Stairs in 1" and 1.5" Formats * Candelabras and Chandeliers * 4 Pews * 2 Altars * Bishop and Priest Thrones * Baptismal Font * Pulpit * 4 Statues * Big Freakin' Evil Heart! * 3" and 6" Sloped Roofs * Spires (3"x3" Area Coverage) * Special Rear Roof * Roof Spikes and Gargoyles * Decorative Bellfries * 3" and 6" Walls in Two Styles and Colours * Massive 6"x6" Walls in Two Styles and Colours * Special Rear Wall in Two Styles and Colours * Pentagrammic "Rose" Window in Two Styles and Colours * Transparencies for All Windows Plus Variations And as always, fully photographed, step-by-step instructions to guide you through the assembly process! |

Waah! I just emptied my PayPal account on Rifftrax, thinking there was no way this was going to be out before 2008. Thank [deity] that my birthday is January 9th. Also; a Merry Xmas to all and sundry. |

The printer is already chugging away, with Folk Alley's Christmas channel playing in the background. ![]() I actually want to recreate the cathedral as shown in the pictures - a reasonable size, big enough to be imposing, without being a full table in size. Then I start thinking about a Hellworks GM screen, using both sets. The Auld Grump |

Totally agree with TheAuldGrump - the size of the one in the pictures is just right for Mayhem. Ordered and printing - thanks one and all. Merry Christmas! |

Matt I am totally digging this set more so than any other you have done to date. This is an indication of how good each set tops the last. As a side note why do the Two Piece wall not have tabs whilst the Foldovers do? No a big deal but interesting. *Edit* Pages 1, 2, 5 & 8 do - outsides I can understand but the internals aren't all tabed Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Yes it made it dificult to me to build it...as I've to build the interior/exterior togheter and not only the interiors and then the exteriors... I would love also an interior without light from outside...But a hell to build (I've nearly all 1fts floor by now) |

Yes...you're right but if you want to build the "inside" and after go for the outside it's a bit tricky...I had problems also matching colors in the floor apart of my printer that began to print "different" colours ![]() EDIT: I didn't delete is so everybody can see how stupid I'm... I was using both sides of the same A4 so they didn't match...if I used 2 of diferent pages (same side) then it match.... |

I got it! Mostly for the props as I've already kitbashed a church. Looks great Matt. Now I need to get some cardstock before I can do anything. |
